Public transport of the future


Israel has begun work on the project to build a transport network, as something that designers of future transportation.
The pilot project of "Israel Aerospace Industries" grab a length of 500 meters at present based on the success that can be expanded gradually and ambitions are to extend it to pass the country's borders.
The plan envisages the construction of a vehicular infrastructure that will operate with electricity, similar to funiculars, but many times faster.


Work on setting up this system in one of the most frequented areas of Tel Aviv has started in June and the deadline for its completion is the end of next year.
The novelty lies in the use of advanced technology, where customers can book a taxi by phone at a certain station.
Similar projects have been approved in other countries globnit as in India, United States and Japan, but Israel is the only project where work has begun to implement it.
Otherwise known as "SkyTran" and originally presented by the space agency of the United States, NASA, this type of transport aims to revolutionize this sector within a few decades.
