A church retreat came to the aid of Canada's latest disaster survivors

On the front lines of global warming, evacuees from Lytton, a western Canadian village destroyed by wildfires in June, are detached and bitter about the September 20 snap elections.

British Columbia experienced major disasters this year that scientists say show the intensifying effects of climate change. Many of those affected by fires and floods took shelter at Camp Hope.
