Disappearance Of London Woman Walking Home Alone Sparks Grief And Anger Across U.K.

The search for Sarah Everard brought police on March 9 to Mount Pond on Clapham Common, where a poster asks the public for help locating the missing London woman. Authorities said the next day that officers had found what they believe to be human remains in a wooded area in Kent.

Sarah Everard, 33, was last seen walking home alone from a friend's house last week. Authorities say they have found human remains and arrested a Metropolitan Police officer on suspicion of murder.
